anyone who can think of a good name for this picture that goes along with the other picture's themed names gets a cookie

Yeay, the only female betta pic of the group. this one is a mustard gas female betta. done in the 'raw' with my own betta as references. though none of them are mustard gas, i'm not so lucky.

i was thinking indigo, but seeing the yellows reds and oranges it didn't really fit much, btw, how can u tell males from females in the drawings anyway?

Betta!
My daughter has a Betta. She named it Talyssa because the fish looks like a girl wearing a long blue ball gown. I didn't have the heart to tell her the big floofy ones are boys.
This one has lived almost 4 years and I hold my breath every time I come home expecting to find a dead fish. I just haven't steeled myself to tell a 6 year old her pet got old and died. I'm a wussy, I know!
Ooo! Fishy! Cool colors and pose. :)

Sweet dreams are made of these. Who am I to disagree.. Travel the world and the seven seas.. Everybody is looking for something. Some of them want to use you. Some of them want to get used by you. Some of them want to abuse you.
Symphony?
Pretty.:)
I've got a title: "The Colour Scheme of Fox's Room" ....cause it is, heh heh.
Follow me here:
Mustard = Yellow
Yellow = Citrine (following your precious gem titles)
Citrine Cascade?

All the betta pics are lovely though. Well done!
see those virtical stripe/spots? Females get those when they are ready to mate. also, a females fins are much smaller then a males. Although some males HAVE been bred for smaller finage, plakats is what they are called and they are virtually undestinguishable from females.
also, when a female is in warmer temperatures she gets horrizontal stripes

In the right conditions (1 gallon aquarium, heated, with every week water changes or an air pump to circulate water) a betta can live up to 15 years ^_^

I'm buying a ten gallon wich i'm going to split into four sections with plexi glass for four of my seven males. ^_^ WEEEE BETA!

that's so sweet. I think bettas are the most wonderfull pets for children. They are harty, beautifull pets that take little work to maintain ^_^.

be carefull though, they like to jump.
