From now through Dec. 15th! (No new applications will be processed between Dec.16th - Dec. 25th so that we can spend time with our families!) In an effort to get some of the 125 rats in our custody home with a real family in time for the holidays, we are offering several discounts and promotions.
Our regular adoption fees start at $12.00 per rat for babies up to 3 months, then go down from there. Spays/Neuters are optional and normally cost $75 each.
Here is what we are offering this holiday season!
~$10.00 off the cost of our already discounted spay/neuters when you adopt an intact rat from us and the adoption fees will be waived, all you pay for is the spay/neuter!
~For rats already neutered and paid for by us, the adoption fees will be $25.00 for one rat, $35.00 for a pair.
~If you adopt a threesome of intact rats, the adoption fee for the third rat will be waived!
~All rats adopted during this promotion will be sent home with a special wrapped gift to celebrate the holidays with! We believe every rat should have a gift to open with his family.
All of our adopters are sent home with goodie bags filled with complimentary hammock, toys, food samples, coupon to our MRR store, and other small treasures! Adopters in ME, MA and NH also receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam from one of our participating vets!
Choose from newly weaned to older babies, teens, adult, senior and special needs rats. This includes neutered boys, happy couples , dwarves, dumbos and rexes We also have a variety of colors and markings: agouti, fawn, black, blue, blue agouti, PEW, marked Siamese, Himalayan, selfs, hooded, Berkshire, head spots, masked, blazed you name it!
Remember that transport to get rats closer to you can often be arranged. (Just ask and we will see what we can do.)
you HAVE to get a cage mate, rats are social creatures, They Need other rats to play with, with out other cagemates, they will get lonely, and even stop eating
Kink out of loneliness he's started to chew his toes... But I can't find a rat friend for him, he's a large rat and he beats up smaller rodents because he wants dominance but he's gentle with women... But I don't have room for a full litter
hmm thats definitely a problem… I know you probably won't, but you could neutered, then get a female… It makes them a lot friendlier. The only problem is, it cost a lot.
i got him a dumbo rat companion, named him theezar, and his a champange and alibino mix, h'es very cute and within three days of them sharing a cage thor's health declined and he died by my side, i believe it was brought on by age
Theezar sounds cute though
